Randy DeFauw is a Senior Principal Solutions Architect at AWS. He holds an MSEE from the University of Michigan, where he worked on computer vision for autonomous vehicles. He also holds an MBA from Colorado State University. Randy has held a variety of positions in the technology space, ranging from software engineering to product management. He entered the Big Data space in 2013 and continues to explore that area. He is actively working on projects in the ML space and has presented at numerous conferences including Strata and GlueCon.
Glenn Holland is a Principal at Amazon Web Services, focusing on AI-driven Business Innovation for AWS customers. With a robust background in digital innovation, Glenn leverages AI and cloud technologies to help organizations reimagine their business models and customer experiences. At AWS, he employs a forward-thinking approach to innovation, drawing from Amazon's culture of customer obsession and inventive thinking. This involves utilizing AI to enhance decision-making, streamline operations, and create personalized customer experiences.
Before his tenure at AWS, Glenn was instrumental in the development of Salesforce's Ignite digital innovation program, where he also pioneered a transformative program leveraging cloud technologies and business value to drive customer engagement and growth. His extensive experience in solution architecture and strategic partnerships is underpinned by a deep understanding of AI's role in enhancing customer service and engagement.
Glenn resides in Southlake, Texas, with his wife, two daughters and two Rhodesian Ridgebacks.
